thinking what about to blog

i was thinking about what to post here then i asked someone what topic is good for blogging... she said post about what is on your mind at the moment... i agreed on that, the idea was perfect, so what im gonna do now is post about what i am thinking...

ok... this is what im thinking right now... :D

hahaha! post what's on my mind right ? :D ♥

by the way, the one who told me what to post is the one im with on the pic :D

idol ko si green lantern

green lantern is a good movie though i was expecting more from it, i think the movie was kinda rushed... i think the movie was not translated well as from the book...

but one thing really strucked me from the movie, aside from the ring to ring fight scenes hehehe... the line that green lantern said to his love interest...

"Hal Jordan: My new job requires that I...that I travel. Be away for a while. Away. Never gone.
[he goes to kiss her]"
well, uhm, i think this would apply to me as well, i hope my girl would understand me if i'll be away for work...

leaving the one you love behind takes a lot of courage i know, at this moment, i dont have that much courage... i love her so much that's why i'm half hearted to go and leave... i dont wanna lose her that's why... but taking the job would mean so much as well, i could save up a lot for our future...
i wanted to say to her the same line that green lantern told her love " My new job requires that I...that I travel. Be away for a while. Away. Never gone "

i want her to know that being far away does not mean that im gone, im gonna be far away for our future, for us... i have to be strong and fearless for us...

i love her so much i hope she would stick to me like i am to her... i dont want to lose her...

ang kulet ng blog q, start from green lantern tpos npunta s srili q :D hahaha!

happiness vs hatred

what makes you happy?

there are certain things in life that makes us happy...

an old man said, watching his grandkids play and laugh... i asked one little girl and she said, playing with her kittens...
the rocker said music makes him feel good... the nature lover said the sunlight and the greens of the fields... the tv addict said the noon time show makes him laugh...

happiness is a treasure some says, it is within your soul and all you have to do is to dig it out and enjoy it... it is within you, when you stop the chatter of the mind and expel your worries and fears you find out that happiness surfaces from within you... happiness is not something far away and unattainable, it is always here, but only covered by thoughts, desires and fears... what i am saying is that it comes from within, there is no need to search for it or to create it, there is no need to undergo all kinds of experiences in order to enjoy it... It hass always been here, deep within your soul...

so now, what really makes you happy?

i think, it is you, yes yourself... if you learn to laugh and look at the happy side of life, this will make you feel better... just focus your mindset on everything that you do and increase your control over your mind so that your happiness would manifest... each day do something that makes you happy, until it becomes a habit... and then being cheerful makes you glow... actually being happy is contagious, you see, when you're happy, your friends are happy as well...

so, choose happiness, concentrate on it and you will find it everywhere... let the joy in your heart overflow... when you have a positive frame of mind, you broadcast positive thoughts and feelings to the world around you...

============================================================================
Hate is a powerful emotion. Unless kept in check, hate can cause an avalanche of destruction. It wreaks havoc on relationships, breaks up families, and even takes away innocent lives. With hate, dark thoughts of revenge and destruction can cloud the mind. Hate not only destroys people around us; it also erodes our own character. Never let hate engulf your mind. Use these hate quotes to help you steer clear from wicked thoughts. Hate is too great a burden to bear. It injures the hater more than it injures the hated.

Remember:

Hatred paralyzes life; love releases it. Hatred confuses life; love harmonizes it. Hatred darkens life; love illuminates it.

So take all out the hate in your heart, because hatred is like acid. It does more damage to the vessel in which it is stored than to the object on which it is poured, so don't damage your heart... :D

alexandros

Alexandros,  (Greek: “Defender”)  also called Paris, in Greek legend, son of King Priam of Troy and his wife, Hecuba. A dream regarding his birth was interpreted as an evil portent, and he was consequently expelled from his family as an infant. Left for dead, he was either nursed by a bear or found by shepherds. He was raised as a shepherd, unknown to his parents. As a young man he entered a boxing contest at a Trojan festival, in which he defeated Priam’s other sons. After his identity was revealed, he was received home again by Priam.
The “judgment of Paris” was and continues to be a popular theme in art. According to legend, Paris, while he was still a shepherd, was chosen by Zeus to determine which of three goddesses was the most beautiful. Rejecting bribes of kingly power from Hera and military might from Athena, he chose Aphrodite and accepted her bribe to help him win the most beautiful woman alive. His seduction of Helen (the wife of Menelaus, king of Sparta) and refusal to return her was the cause of the Trojan War. During the war Paris seems to have had a secondary role: a good warrior but inferior to his brother Hector and to the Greek leaders whom he faced. Menelaus would have defeated Paris in single combat, but Aphrodite rescued him, and the war continued.
Near the end of the war, Paris shot the arrow that, by Apollo’s help, caused the death of the hero Achilles. Paris himself, soon after, received a fatal wound from an arrow shot by the rival archer Philoctetes.
